Mario Florez is a social service and education professional with over 20 years of experience. He has made it his life’s work and mission to serve marginalized and vulnerable populations through direct service provision as a residential and crisis counselor, as well as practice and policy across various sectors and disciplines. He has worked in the areas of social services, education and now public health and community health and well-being. Mario is currently the Regional Director of Community Health and Well Being for Trinity Health of New England and has served as Director of School Climate and Culture, and Chief of Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Learning and Director of Equity and Inclusion. He is knowledgeable in the areas of PBIS, restorative practices, DEI, prosocial behavior management, and equitable disciplinary practices.
